Counter-Strike Source Updated AgainCategory:
CSS - Posted by Jackyd - 27/08/2010 - 16:31
Hidden Path / Valve have released yet another update to Counter-Strike Source which also affects both Team Fortress 2 and Day of Defeat Source
This update has fixed some long standing issues like the variable HE grenade damage depending on what weapon the attacker is holding at the time and how the crosshair behaves with different frame rates.
The best part of this update being the removal of the built in wallhack when alt-tabbing whilst joining a server or during a map change.
We will be running some tests over the weekend to see how well the "memory leak" has been... Read more

Website Hosting ChangesCategory:
CRG Site News - Posted by Jackyd - 16/08/2010 - 13:07
Update - The Forums and Sourcebans are now back online. Sorry for the extended downtime and issues caused.
We are having to change our website hosting company due to a couple of reasons. The main one being we no longer require the extra functions having a VPS enabled us to have so theres no point continuing to pay £24 a month for it.
The downside is my pc has decided its a perfect time to die on me so trying to move a website via a shit n97 mobile is not exactly ideal. I have got the majority of files uploaded so hopefully we wont loose any data.

Although the majority of people are pleased to see Counter-Strike Source being updated there are also fair amount of people who are annoyed at Valve/Hidden Path for "breaking the game".
Saying that this latest update has addressed some long standing bugs... Read more

TeamCRG News - Posted by Jackyd - 25/06/2010 - 13:33
Pretty much as the title suggests really. We currently have both of our Deathmatch servers back online
77.74.195.248:27070 - Dust2 Only Deathmatch 26 slot
77.74.195.250:27015 - Map Vote Deathmatch 18 slot
77.74.195.249:27030 - 100tick Dust2/Nuke/Train/Inferno Rotation Deathmatch 18 slot
The Dust2 Deathmatch is back to normal although running at 66tic due to the forced changes by Valve - we wont be running the ticrate plugin before anyone asks/suggests It causes more problems than it solves.
The Pistol server is still in the update stage due to the amount of plugins. I have... Read more
