We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new Battlefield Bad Company 2 Server.
It is currently running on the Squad Deathmatch Game type and rotates through the maps every 30 minutes. Apart from that all settings are as standard at the moment until we get time to have a decent play around to get familiar with the settings

After a short search we are proud to announce our latest Counter-Strike Source roster who will be representing us both online and at future lan events.

Tension were formed in June 2009 and have been extremely active in the EnemyDown ladders and cups. They won the Css Winter Cup and with a great run of results they are currently sitting just outside the top 10 in the Open ladder. Hopefully breaking into the top10 again later this week.
We will also be looking to enter ESL as soon as possible

Im pleased to say that we have now got our Team Fortress 2 Server back online


As a bonus to the members who help us kick start the server we will be issuing reserved slots access for one month to the most active 10 players of the first 2 weeks.

Phase 1

The website move is now 99% complete. All that is left now is a few database changes to be made once the new deciated server is installed.
This may cause some minor downtime to Hlstats/Sourcebans.


Phase 2

We will be aiming to get the new dedicated server installed at the data center by mid march. We are being slightly delayed as our host is currently having a switch around to make some space and we need to wait for that work to be completed before they can switch ours.

I would also like to take the chance to thank Ant and Dave from http://www.ukservers.com for working continuously for 48 hours to ensure every server was back online.

Currently all CodeRed Gamings public servers are off-line due to the main switch breaking at Maidenhead datacentre where we host our dedicated server.
We are in direct contact with the techs on site and will update with the progress as we get the news.

I apologise for this unexpected downtime and homefully things will be back to normal shortly.


Update

As of 9:30am this morning we are still waiting to hear anything new back from the datacenter.
I hope that our servers will be back today although I cannot promise anything as it is out of our hands.

Multiplay have released the initial Prize funds for the upcoming i39 i-series lan.
This shows things are definitaly on the way back up in the e-sports world as the prize funds are now increasing across the board and also the surprise addition of HoN to the tournaments. Aslong as each games community gets together and makes the numbers up then things can only go forwards again from here.
